In 2011 I will go to the gym every day. Sound familiar? It's a common resolution that most people abandon a month or two into the year. I've abandoned my fair share of resolutions. In 2000, I resolved to start keeping my room clean. This was only to be followed by my 2001 resolution; I will keep my room clean. Just because the whole keeping my room clean thing didn't work out for me, doesn't mean this won’t. I can keep a resolution.
This year I'm going to work out and be active. While I didn't necessarily gain the horrific freshman 15, I didn't exactly employ a healthy lifestyle during my first semester. This semester, I'm turning things around. Determination and desire for a healthier lifestyle will trump the beckoning of my comfy bed. The semester is 15 weeks long and I will use it to undo the damage of the first.

ReplyDeleteGood for you! It starts with a thought and a plan. Don't worry about the messy bedroom. It will only get messy again. Life is much too short and busy to worry about messy rooms. I've heard that a messy room is a sign of genius. However, making a commitment to a healthy lifestyle will be a resolution that will benefit you and those you love for a very long time.
